… if:
1. Meherjaan was made by Srabanti Huda (daughter of BNP’s Communications Minister Nazmul Huda).
2. Giyasuddin Al Mamoon made crores from the DSE, leaving 3.5 million people broke.
3. Khaleda Zia said fatwa is okay as long as learned mullahs issue it.
4. BNP decided to build a major infrastructure without any feasibility study or consultation.
5. Lutfuzzaman Babar or Altaf Hossain Chowdhury said human rights activists are criminal-lovers.
Can you imagine what would have transpired by now if the above actually took place?

Nation’s intellectuals are one eyed.We can’t expect balanced judgement from them.

Imagine what would happen if Hasina & her regime did the same things as listed above ??
Answer: Unfortunately, people would vote Hasina AGAIN for repeating the totally aimless incompetence (failure). Like voting Bush again to ‘fix’ USA – its an oxymoron.
But what does Hasina say for her total failure?
Answer: “its ALL a conspiracy, by the vested quarters of anti-liberation forces (and razakars of democracy). A conspiracy (EGG) is being hatched”.
To any sensible human that kind of response would sound like a joke, in a nation of 100 million starving citizen”.
Finally there may be some hope, her own party people are beginning to realize Hasina’s empty bubble:

1. There has not been any mention in mainstream media, absolutely no mention, that the controversial movie Meherjaan is made by the daughter of one of PM’s most trusted ministers, Syed Abul Hossain.
2. Staunch AL’er, stock marker nquiry Commission Chair, started his service by uttering that some BNP businessmen and one AL minded businessmen were behind stock market fiasco. Taking his clue, AL’s media men ( Mr. Bulbul) and politicians started repeating the same statement. After few dozen times repeatation, this will be fact. Ibrahim Khalid meant Salman Rahman ( AL MP, PM’s minister rank adviser) as AL minded and Lutfur Rahman Badal as BNP businessman ( Never been involved with BNP politics, never a member of any level of BNP — only a business partner of Mr Falu).
3. Prothom Alo, Daily Star, Shamokal etc are highly vocal on Fatwa issue. However, this specific statement by PM was totally black-outed by Prothom Alo, Daily Star. There is no mention of this statement in those newspapers.
4. Read today’s Shamokal, listen to Mr Bulbul- Waliur Rahman etc., you will already find a lot of justification of Bangabandhu aiport.
5. Zafar Iqbal Shaheb ekhon kothay? Cross Fire, Arial Beel, Fatwa, skyrocketing of prices, Mastani at Campuses— Where is Zafar iqbal shaheb? Or where is Shishir Bhattacharya’s cartoon?

Well, it’s not widely remembered nowdays, but when Barrister Nazmul Huda headed the Ministry of Information, a film was made about our Liberation War through the ministry, with government funding.

Why are the national online papers disappearing as Awami days go by ? First New Nation, and now New Age – they are both off the air!
Conspiracy of vested quarters of anti-freedom of speech movement ? or pure govt repression against free speech ??!

Who is this Lutfur Rahman Badal? How he turned into a billionaire overnight just during BNP-Jamat rule (2001-2006)? Bangladeshi government should investigate this issue.
Also there should be investigation into the case of Iftekhar Ahmed Tipu, chairman of IFAD Group (Tipu is the elder brother of Gen. Moeen U Ahmed). It is known that, during the caretaker government of Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed (who was a puppet of Gen. Moeen), Iftekhar Ahmed Tipu became a fabulously rich man by taking ever singe opportunity accorded by his younger brother. We want to know the truth. Both Lutfur Rahman Badal and Iftekhar Ahmed Tipu should be summoned by the Anti Corruption Commission.

You want to summon ONLY the opposition party thieves ?
That will not fix corruption, that will create millions of other thieves – and it already has.
btw, the ACC has been turned into a lame choroi-pakhi by current regime, so that NO politician can be “summoned” without govt permission. Politicians are golden angels of “shonar bangla”!!
